Nan YarWho Am I

Nan Yar or Who Am I, is the first teaching of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, who responded in writing, to a set of questions from a devotee in the year 1902.

Ulladu Narpadu

Ulladu Narpadu – ‘Forty that Exists’ is one of Bhagavan’s fundamental and most important compositions. What he teaches us in Uḷḷadu Naṟpadu is supplemented and supported by what he teaches us Nan Yar? and Upadesa Undiyar.

Upadesa Undiyar

Upadesa-undiyar is a Tamil poem of thirty verses that Sri Ramana composed in 1927 in answer to the request of Sri Muruganar, and that he later composed in Sanskrit, Telugu and Malayalam under the title Upadesa Saram, the ‘Essence of Spiritual Instructions’.

Aksharamanamalai

Sri Arunachala Akshara mana malai, the ‘Bridal Garland of Letters to Sri Arunachala’, is a song composed in praise of Arunachala while he lived in Virupaksha cave.

Arunachala Navamanimalai

Arunachala Navamani Malai means The Garland or Necklace of Nine Gems in praise of Sri Arunachala. This is a poem of nine verses composed by Bhagavan.

Arunachala Padigam

Sri Arunachala Padhikam, means the ‘Eleven Verses to Sri Arunachala’. This patikam or poem of eleven verses thus poured forth from the heart of Sri Ramana.

Arunachala Ashtakam

Sri Arunachala Ashtakam means the ‘Eight Verses to Sri Arunachala’. It was composed by Sri Ramana as a continuation of Sri Arunachala Patikam.

Arunachala Pancharatnam

Sri Arunachala Pancharatnam, the ‘Five Gems to Sri Arunachala’, a song that Sri Ramana first composed in Sanskrit, and later in Tamil.

Arunachala Mahatmiyam

Sri Arunachala Mahatmiyam means the Glory of Arunachala and is composed by Bhagavan himself, in praise of Arunachala, the Lord of the Red Hill.

Ekanma Panchakam

Ekanma Panchakam, the ‘Five Verses on the Oneness of Self’, is a poem that Sri Ramana composed in February 1947, first in Telugu, then in Tamil, and later in Malayalam.
