॥ श्रीः॥
॥ मुण्डकोपनिषत् ॥
ॐ भद्रं कर्णेभिः श्रुणुयाम देवा भद्रं पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः ।
स्थिरैरङ्गैस्तुष्टुवाꣳसस्तनूभिर्व्यशेम देवहितं यदायुः ।
स्वस्ति न इन्द्रो वृद्धश्रवाः स्वस्ति नः पूषा विश्ववेदाः ।
स्वस्ति नस्तार्क्ष्यो अरिष्टनेमिः स्वस्ति नो बृहस्पतिर्दधातु।
॥ ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥

.. muṇḍakopaniṣat ..
oṃ bhadraṃ karṇebhiḥ śruṇuyāma devā bhadraṃ paśyemākṣabhiryajatrāḥ .
sthirairaṅgaistuṣṭuvāgͫsastanūbhirvyaśema devahitaṃ yadāyuḥ .
svasti na indro vṛddhaśravāḥ svasti naḥ pūṣā viśvavedāḥ .
svasti nastārkṣyo ariṣṭanemiḥ svasti no bṛhaspatirdadhātu.
.. oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ..

Om. May we, O gods, hear with our ears what is auspicious! May we, O worshipful gods, see with our eyes what is good! May we, strong in limbs and body, sing your praise and enjoy the life allotted to us by Prajapati!

Om. Peace! Peace! Peace!

ॐ (Om): Symbol of para-brahmaṇ
भद्रं (bhadraṃ): Blessed, Auspicious
कर्णेभिः (karṇebhiḥ): With the Ears
कर्ण (karṇa) = Ear
शृणुयाम (śṛṇuyāma): May we Hear
श्रु (śru) = To hear, listen or attend to anything
देवाः (devāḥ): Gods

Line 2:
भद्रं (bhadraṃ): Blessed, Auspicious
पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः (paśyemākṣabhiryajatrāḥ): May we See with our Eyes what is Auspicious
पश्य (paśya) = Seeing, Beholding
अक्ष (akṣa) = The Eye
यजत्र (yajatra) = Worthy of Worship or Sacrifice

Line 3:
स्थिरैरङ्गैस्तुष्टुवागँसस्तनूभिः (sthirairaṅgaistuṣṭuvāgaṃsastanūbhiḥ): May we Live with Contentment with Strong Body and Limbs
स्थिर (sthira) = Firm, Strong
अङ्ग (aṅga) = Limb of the body
तुष्ट (tuṣṭa) = Satisfied, Pleased
तनु (tanu) = The Body

Line 4:
व्यशेम (vyaśema): Praise or Extol
विष्टु (viṣṭu) = To Praise very much, Extol with Praises
देवहितं (devahitaṃ): Arranged by the Gods
यदायूः (yadāyūḥ): Whatever Lifespan has been Alloted to us
यद् (yad) = Whatever
आयु (āyu) = Duration of life

स्वस्ति (svasti): Well-being, Fortune, Prosperity
न (na): us, of us, to us
नस् (nas) = us, of us, to us
इन्द्रो (indro): Lord Indra
वृद्धश्रवाः (vṛddhaśravāḥ): Who is of Great Fame
वृद्ध (vṛddha) = Wise, Experienced, Eminent, Distinguised
श्रवस् (śravas) = Glory, Fame

Line 6:
स्वस्ति (svasti): Well-being, Fortune, Prosperity
नः (naḥ): us, of us, to us
नस् (nas) = us, of us, to us
पूषा (pūṣā): God pūṣā who nourishes, may be the Sun God
विश्ववेदाः (viśvavedāḥ): All-Knowing
विश्व (viśva) = The whole World, Universe
वेद (veda) = Knowledge

Line 7:
स्वस्ति (svasti): Well-being, Fortune, Prosperity
नस्ताक्षर्यो (nastākṣaryo): To us tākṣarya
नस् (nas) = us, of us, to us
ताक्षर्य (tākṣarya) = Garuda
अरिष्टनेमिः (ariṣṭanemiḥ): One who Protects us
अरिष्ट (ariṣṭa) = Proof against injury or damage
नेम (nema) = Boundary, Limit

स्वस्ति (svasti): Well-being, Fortune, Prosperity
नो (no): us, of us, to us
नस् (nas) = us, of us, to us
वृहस्पतिर्दधातु (vṛhaspatirdadhātu): May Lord Brihaspati also Give us or Preserve our
वृहस्पति (vṛhaspati) = Lord Brihaspati, the Guru of Devas
दध (dadha) = Giving, Preserving
